July 14 (Bloomberg) -- Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc., the bankrupt Atlantic City casino company, is in talks to sell the Trump Marina Hotel Casino, according to the leading bondholder taking over the company.
Discussions are under way with interested buyers, Marc Lasry, chief executive officer of New York-based Avenue Capital Group, told the New Jersey Casino Control Commission today in Atlantic City. Lasry and Avenue Capital, which will own 22 percent of Trump Entertainment once it exits bankruptcy, gained interim licensing approval from the panel.
Billionaire Lasry, along with other bondholders and company founder Donald J. Trump, won control of Trump Entertainment in April when a bankruptcy judge ruled their bid was better for creditors than a competing offer by investor Carl Icahn. Today’s licensing and plan approvals will pave the way for Trump Entertainment’s three Atlantic City casinos to exit bankruptcy for a third time.
“The Marina needs, how do I say this nicely, it needs updating,” Lasry said. “It’s in a phenomenal location, but it’s a bit old, and it’s a bit dated.”
Trump Entertainment, which last emerged from bankruptcy in May 2005, owns the Trump Taj Mahal Resort, Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino and Trump Marina. The three properties also went through bankruptcy in the 1990s.
Gambling Slump
Coastal Marina LLC, controlled by Richard T. Fields, had agreed in 2008 to buy Trump Marina and turn it into a Margaritaville casino resort. Last year, Fields renegotiated the deal, which included settlement of an unrelated lawsuit, and then reached yet another plan with bondholders to buy the Marina before Trump switched sides and aligned with them.
Atlantic City gambling revenue fell 8.4 percent this year through June from a year ago, extending a record three-year decline for the New Jersey seaside resort, hit by the economic slowdown and competition from nearby states including Pennsylvania, New York and Delaware. Six of the city’s casinos wound up in bankruptcy or are restructuring debt, and development has stalled.
Trump Entertainment’s new owners plan to spend money updating Trump Plaza, and want to attract more families to Atlantic City in order to compete with new casinos closer to their homes in nearby states, Lasry said today during commission questioning.
Icahn’s Plan
“I believe over the course of the next five years a lot of value is going to be created,” Lasry said. He said he was “more positive about the economy six months ago” and now believes Atlantic City casinos will turn around in two to three years, longer than the one to two years he had earlier projected.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Judith H. Wizmur on April 12 sided with a group of bondholders owed $1.2 billion. Their proposal reduces Trump Entertainment’s debt by $1.4 billion, gives Trump as much as 10 percent of the company he once ran and allows continued use of his name. The bondholders also offered to invest $225 million in Trump Entertainment.
Under Icahn’s losing plan, $480 million in bank debt that he bought from Texas banker Andy Beal would have been fully repaid by converting it to equity, wiping out the bondholders. Under the bondholders’ winning proposal, their notes will be canceled and the bank loans will be reduced by at least $100 million after selling a stake in the company. The remainder will be converted to a new loan to be repaid by 2015.
Icahn Objection
Icahn and Beal filed a last-minute objection to Trump Entertainment’s plan to exit bankruptcy, claiming that the company has not yet negotiated a brand licensing agreement with Donald and Ivanka Trump. The company has also failed to give Icahn and Beal copies of a new credit agreement, the pair said in court papers filed July 12.
Judge Wizmur scheduled a July 15 hearing on the objection, the day Trump Entertainment expects to exit bankruptcy, according to court papers.
When the bondholder-sponsored reorganization plan was approved, the judge required that copies of the licensing and credit agreements be given to Icahn and Beal so they could have a chance to challenge them before Trump Entertainment exited bankruptcy.
The bankruptcy case is In re TCI 2 Holdings LLC, 09-13654, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey (Camden).

"I don't think it's a failure, I think it's a success."
Few people in the world could come out with a new fragrance, as did The Donald a few months ago, generate great ratings with a hit TV show starring himself, and then follow those triumphs up by declaring bankruptcy.
But that's not even close to the full, true genius of this amazing man: he told the Associated Press in a telephone interview this past Monday, after news of his Chapter 11 filing was announced, "I don't think it's a failure, I think it's a success."
He went on, "In this case, it was just something that worked better than the alternatives. It's really just a technical thing."
Yeah - so is a flat EEG. But I digress.
Trump's braggadocio reminds me of that old saw, "If you owe the bank $10,000 and you can't make your payments they'll come after you; if you owe them $10,000,000, hey, no problem: they'll loan you another couple million so you can keep making your payments.
What a crock.
To the thousands of people who are shareholders in Trump Hotels & Casinos, and have lost all their money, I guarantee you it's much, much more than "a technical thing".
Too bad they drank the Kool-Aid.
Probably made it with the Donald's signature water"
=============================================================================
also:
"
Donald Trump is a fraud.
He has declared bankrupcy multiple times, and is only "rich" in the sense that a lot of people have invested a lot of money in his various failed enterprises.
Real entrepreneurs start out with nothing, and turn it into something that the market craves.
Trump invests in Real Estate, which is already a known quantity, and then proceeds to drive it into the fucking ground.
All while claiming "success."
====================================================================================
and also: "
Whenever I hear the word "Trump" outside of cut-throat bridge tourneys, I can't help but think of the sobriquet coined by Spy Magazine: "short fingered vulgarian".
As it was then, it is now."

I knew about Donald Trump before all these wannabe people started watching Apprentice. The guy is a freak. A pervert who uses his kids as a meal ticket and uses women. Procreation is a joke to him. I don't know how any heshe could touch him or even look at him naked. He is a low class nickel and dime wig hairdo freak. His kids are losers won't amount to anything just simply a name. He is America's chosen freak. Everything he does is wrong and he calls it success. The guy gives a positive attitude a new meaning. I wish he just died."
===========================================================================
and: "
Let me tell you something boys and girls, Donald Trump screwed all of the investors in this project. Ripped them off royally. He promised over and over and over again, that even it it took his own personal funds, he was going to make sure that Trump Towers Tampa was built. But, did the media catch that bait and switch that he pulled? Did the Feds investigate Donal Trump's fraud? What am I talking about? Well, Trump falsely made like he was going to take this project over and see it to completion, convincing investors to continue pouring their life's savings into it. He read the soils reports. He know that the property was unbuildable. He KNEW that he had no intention of ever taking over this loser project. As soon as he could drum up another "sucker", Mirabilis Ventures, Trump bailed. He bailed and claimed that "well, I guess I lost...I got out bid on my own project". Trump committed fraud, and he skated. Oh, and FWIW, I have no money invested in Trump Towers Tampa and no interest in it's success or failure whatsoever. I just know what happened and feel that the truth needs to be told. Trump, or Trump's cover-up boys need to keep reading the truth.

The Wall Street Journal
Over there you can find a lot of interesting stuff. For example the article about Trump on Trump the lier:
"It's one of the great mysteries of the business world: How much is Donald Trump really worth?
The world famous real-estate developer and television personality has consistently said it's in the billions. A 2005 book citing anonymous sources said it was between $150 million and $250 million. Mr. Trump sued the writer for defamation. He alleged damage to his reputation that caused him to lose out on future deals in locales from Philadelphia to Kiev.
Donald Trump discussed how he values his net worth in a deposition.
A hearing in that case will take place Monday in a state court in Camden, N.J. As part of the proceedings, the Donald, as he's known to fans and detractors alike, has provided under oath the secrets to how he values his wealth and treasure. In one case, he says, he does "mental projections."
"My net worth fluctuates, and it goes up and down with markets and with attitudes and with feelings, even my own feeling," he told lawyers in the December 2007 deposition.
The deposition, marked "Confidential," comes to light at a time when some of Mr. Trump's projects, including several condominium developments that bear his name, are struggling. Among the problems are anemic sales, lawsuits, sharp declines in value and troubles with creditors.
...
Mr. Trump was asked whether he has ever exaggerated in statements about his properties. "I think everybody does," he said in the deposition. "Who wouldn't?"
A follow-up question: Does that mean he inflates the value of his properties in general, nonfinancial public statements? "Not beyond reason," he said in the testimony.
...
In 2005, Deutsche Bank evaluated his net worth as part of underwriting a $640 million construction loan it made to Mr. Trump's Chicago condo and hotel project. The bank said his worth was $788 million
...
In the deposition, Mr. Trump discussed how he determined the value of a residential development on old rail yards on Manhattan's west side. According to the deposition, when a newsletter reporter writing about the project's 2005 sale for $1.8 billion said Mr. Trump had a "small interest," Mr. Trump wrote him a note. "You're a real loser. Thanks for the nice story. Is 50% small?"
But Mr. Trump had a 30% limited-partnership interest in the project, according to legal documents. A group of Hong Kong investors were the owners
...
Mr. Trump often licenses his name to other developers in return for a fee or a cut of the sales. During the deposition, Mr. O'Brien's lawyer, Andrew Ceresney, noted that Mr. Trump had claimed publicly that he had a major ownership in one such project
...
For example, in a November 2007 Wall Street Journal interview cited by Mr. Ceresney, Mr. Trump said he had sold out units at an eponymous condo-hotel project in Hawaii. "The building is largely owned by me," he said in the interview. But in the deposition, Mr. Ceresney produced the licensing agreement for the project. Mr. Trump wasn't a major equity holder in the project, it showed, a fact Mr. Trump didn't dispute.

Trump University Complaint by Sjones
You were reading a complaint about Trump University.
Filing a new complaint about
Trump University scammed me. Do not believe these people!
They will tell you to use whatever resource you have to pay them their 15-35G's for their classes which are full of teachers bragging about what they have but never telling you how to get it other than some top level stuff that never gives you the meat you need to succeed. They don't pay you any attention (even in the $1,495 class) if you don't have the money. They will actually shut you up in class if you challenge them and tune you out and stop calling on you so as to not let the other class members see a devil's advocate and question anything. They will tell you to use your credit cards, your equity line, anything you have that money can be drawn from. So many Americans are already losing their homes...how sad would it be to not have enough money to make your mortgage payments because they scammed you or take out an equity line that causes your mortgage to grow and then have no way to repay it. But this is exactly what they'll do even if they sense you are unsure...that's when I noticed they seemed to pressure you more...when they think they are losing you...they will go in for the kill.
So many people in the classes complained to each other so much so that it became a joke...but stupidly they, and I, came back for more...well because we paid for it and had hope until the last minute. Wrong! If Donald trump apparently has kids who went to the best universities and has the nerve to call this a university I would be mortified if I were him. You cannot call this a university. It is full of bloodsuckers who lie to your face and then somehow put their head to rest at night on their pillow without a second thought to how they may ruin your life. I can only compare it to a used car salesman...you know how they go back to apparently talk to their sales manager but in reality they are just passing the time...these are the low handed tactics they'll use and then act like they are on your side and all buddy buddy about the classes.
They'll point to their measly several testimonials to prove their success but how come out of thousands of students are there only several singing their praises? Payoffs I can only assume and from what I've seen. You stroke their back, they'll stroke yours. This is all politics but what you'd hear at the water cooler is a *** of a lot worse than you could ever imagine...what really goes on behind the scenes at Trump University is not so pretty.
Check out online reports of former employees who tell the truth of what goes on in the outside...how they are pressured to enroll more and more people and put on a show on the phone. These people are probably scripted as they are just salespeople not caring individuals. It is the game of faking it 'til you make it but it's all bull. I can't stand posers or users so I'm going to tell you the truth as they stole money out of my pocket and gave me nothing I could use in return, no matter how hard I tried or how much I asked.
I went through their classes and it's all broad with nothing deep for you to actually use in the real world. They ask you to keep spending your hard earned dough to get more and more top level stuff. It just never ends.
I sincerely hope this post can save at least one person from the same mistake that is going to take me twice the amount of time to repair that I spent in their classes.
Buyer beware!!! Don't do it. They will lie to your face!

sorry, but I cannot hold myself
Students say they spent thousands of dollars and got nothing in return
By Jon Hood
ConsumerAffairs.com
May 5, 2010
A group of consumers has filed suit against Trump University, the financial institution that holds itself out as a vehicle to instant wealth and happiness, alleging that the only thing they got from the school was a massive amount of debt.
According to the suit, Trump University promises big things, assuring consumers that "it's the 'next best thing' to being Donald Trump's next 'Apprentice." Indeed, the company's website promises that students can, depending on their goals, "become the next real estate mogul," "become your own success story," or "learn wealth strategies."
But the plaintiffs say it didn't take long before they realized that "[t]he primary lesson Trump University teaches its students is how to spend more money buying more Trump seminars."
According to the complaint, when the plaintiffs first arrived at Trump University, the faculty sought to reassure them about the high cost of the seminars they were being offered. Specifically, the plaintiffs say they were told they would get all their money back at their first real estate closing, and that they stood to make "tens of thousands of dollars" every month after that. And, in addition to the seminars, the plaintiffs say they were promised, among other things "a one-year apprenticeship, a one-on-one mentorship ... [and] a 'power team' consisting of real estate [professionals]."
Lead plaintiff spent $60,000
As it turned out, Trump University might have oversold itself a bit. According to the suit, the one-year apprenticeship turned out to be a three-day seminar; the one-on-one mentorship, paradoxically, "consisted of no practical insights and no mentorship"; and the members of the "power team" were only interested in lining their own pockets.
The suit also says students were asked to raise their credit card limits and prepare "detailed financial statements," ostensibly so that they would have enough money to cover their first real estate investment opportunity. In reality, though, the plaintiffs claim Trump University was just making sure that the students would have enough money to cover the Trump Gold Program, which clocks in at an eye-popping $34,995.
According to the suit, lead plaintiff Tarla Makaeff was talked into signing up for the program after Trump University speaker Tiffany Brinkman guaranteed that her first real estate deal "would earn her in the ballpark of $35,000." Makaeff spent $60,000 on Trump courses over a one-year period, and ended up having to turn down the only two real estate deals that came her way, as "both were flawed and appeared unprofitable."
Allegations resemble other suits
Unfortunately, Trump University isn't unique. Last September, a suit against Millionaire University claimed that students spent over $20,000 on "real estate investment opportunities," only to end up with property that no one was willing to buy. The homes were in "high crime, highly vandalized areas," and, in case that wasn't enough, Millionaire University saturated neighborhoods with "five or more of the same model home...in close proximity to one another," making resale almost impossible.
Trump University was founded by Donald Trump, the real estate tycoon and host of The Apprentice, the NBC reality show in which contestants compete to be Trump's second-hand man. The school's home page features a characteristically intense-looking Trump next to the headline, "Are YOU My Next Apprentice? Prove it to me!" A button below the challenge instructs visitors to "Join Now. It's Free."
The plaintiffs are demanding a full refund for the money they spent on Trump University courses, an injunction prohibiting Trump from falsely advertising the school, and all suit-related costs, including attorneys' fees. The suit alleges breach of contract, breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, negligent misrepresentation, fraud, and violation of several California consumer protection statutes.

how come that a guy who went bankrtp 3 (!) times, and have lost billions (1.2 billion just in the last round) is still allowed to have his own private money, because HE has never went bankrupt, it is just HIS COMPANY?
why do we allow this Gadfafi lover to keep doing what he is doing to all of us???
is there a line he shouldn't cross? is there a border that we should draw?

Thank you all for taking the time to write a review and save us all alot of money. Just because it has Trumps name all over it doesn't mean it's good. It's all about finding the right information. (They're selling information) Do your own research! All of the information you need is out there on the internet. Fix yourself a cup of coffee, ask yourself the question that you need an answer to and do a search...

Donald Trump's worst enemy--the wind--has struck again, but this time it had nothing to do with his hair. A helicopter was supposed to install the spire (antenna) on the top of the 92-story Trump International Hotel and Tower over the weekend, but because of 50 miles per hour wind gusts on Saturday and 40 miles per hour gusts on Sunday, the topping off had to be called off. The Trump university (take 5)
I went to the free seminar where they sold the three day seminar for $1995. They said Donald Trump is not out to take your money. They said he has so much money that the $1995 doesn't mean anything to him.
At the three day seminar they were selling more courses and 3 days of mentoring for $38000.
They said the $1995 seminar was not enough and that you would probably lose a lot of money if you didn't buy the $38000 dollar program.
Donald Trump does not seem to be trying to do anybody any favor. TrumpU is just another business to him and he probably only cares about the cash flow.
The agreement for the $38000 program has a statement where you sign the agreement that from what I read there is no guarantee that you will make any money and that TrumpU has no real obligation to you.

I signed up for the program (what a stupid a** I was) because I thought the Donald really meant “giving back to the community” by setting up the seminar; what a liar he is.
Then when I read more about them on the internet (again, after paying, which further proves the stupid above) I tried to cancel next day.
Everything seemed fine; the customer service lady who answered the phone was quick and helpful setting up the return free UPS mailing label for me. She even gave me a Return Authorization # and said that UPS would show up maximum in 72 hours to pick up the package.
This was 2 weeks ago. Since then no UPS guy showed up to pick-up the materials. Until the Donald does not receive the materials, they do not refund your money –according to their disclaimer.
So I tried and tried and tried calling them to see what is going on, but now the only response I get is that "our offices are closed" and call back later. Does not matter what day or hour you call, this is the only response you get.
So The Donald is just an other internet scammer, and his place in a jail would be well deserved. If there is any justice on earth (which we all know that there is ).
He probably does not have enough money if he needs mine, so I assume he is going to bed hungry. If he told me that, I could have contributed toward a loaf of bread so he can eat something. But he prefers stealing other people's money. That is actually one of his mottos: "OPM” (other people's money). What he does not mention is that the motto is actually: S-OPM (steal other people's money) if you want to become a billionaire.
Even if I can change the mind of one single person not to give these crooks money, this posting is worth my time.
I contacted my credit card company to reverse the payment, so I am still hopeful I can get my money back.

"I went to the free seminar because Trump's name was on it. I researched some of the people listed on the web site. Clearly they have great credentials and I would have paid to learn from them. But the guy who was leading the seminar came across as a carnival hustler. To his credit he presented two methods of buying real estate in this market. But as the seminar progressed he said a few things about banking that were incorrect. He glossed over a few facts and there was no time for questions. My sense is that he was trying to seperate the intelligent and strong minded from the weak minded and those less knowledgable about real estate. I'm sure that those of us who left were labeled 'losers' to those that stayed. The techniques that he talked about are good in any real estate market. You really don't need to pay someone for the information that he was selling. As I read the comments on this page I am not surprised that the weekend retreat included another sales pitch for a much larger amount of money. The seminar leader, let's call him Jim, stated that he was hand picked by Donald Trump and is Donald's #1 trainer in the country..."

I've been to three of the seminars and they act as though it must be taught in 3 days. A weekend is not needed at all; the material can be taught in a day, seriously people! I think they drag it on the entire weekend so you are forced to get a hotel room so theirs is free and they have time to pitch you the next salespitch, mentoring, which my husband did purchase. It was the worst mentoring I've ever had. I knew more than the mentor from previous courses. I mentioned the repetition and she simply stated it is a learning strategy...so if you want to pay thousands for repetition be my guest. I actually stopped in the middle of mentoring because she was wasting our time. I'm still trying to get our money back. Stay far away from that program! There are affordable legit real estate education courses out there, do your research and join a local Real estate investor club!

Trump University is a major disappointment. They charged me $35,000 for the program, which I would never have paid if I had known that the info given to me was not true. I based my decision on that info! They would not return even a portion of my money after several long and tearful conversations, even after agreeing the info was outdated and they would have to do something about it. I would strongly suggest never using them. There are other gurus out there that are honest and don't cost as much !!! I can't believe Donald Trump would allow such mis-behaving to be associated with his name. Run fast and keep running where they are involved!

Now this is interesting, should I expect his hairness to open a counter blog and post counter posts?
They also try to upsell to another program that cost $38000.
I went to the three day seminar and I didn't learn anything that I hadn't seen before. You could go to Barnes and noble and buy books on foreclosure investing and lease options and asset protection and spend no more than about a hundred fifty dollars and have the same information.
The person doing the seminar said you could be a millionaire simply by buying 10 houses for 100K each rent them for ten years, they would double in value giving you a million in equity.
Where I live it takes 20 or thirty years for a house to double in value.
They also try to upsell to another program that cost $38000. The contract has a statement that implies that there is no guarantee that you will make money after spending $38000 or that Trump U is in anyway obligated to make sure you make anything. I asked about this and they said yes, Trump makes no guarantee and you will not be refunded anything if you don't make anything. For $4000 there is a local real estate club that will find a house with 25000 equity fix it up and rent it out for you.
Trump should guarantee that they will find at least 2 houses over a two year period get them fixed up and rented out and sell them making enough profit to at least break even.
You go to these seminars and they talk as if you can flip a house in a week or two and put $25000 profit in your bank account. If its as easy as they say giving you some kind of guarantee shouldn't be a problem.

the sensitive Donald
Carrie Prejean has been calling Donald Trump, who owns the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants, for advice on what she should do since she was fired as Miss California and a sex tape surfaced. Prejean -- a Christian who was vilified because she opposes gay marriage -- has lost all credibility and her reputation has been blown to shreds, Trump told one source. "Maybe," Mr. Trump said only half-jokingly, "she should become a major porn star, make millions of dollars, and give it to worthy causes."

Donald Trump shouldn't comment on anything. He still has Jones Beach restaurant construction tied up as a no go.
It seems like age's that he stopped the building of a restaurant on Jones Beach because he couldn't have his own way.. Come on big shot, let the little people have a place in the sun..

Donald Trump is an Idiot
The quote that is making all the headlines is where the Donald says that he has "a Ph.D. in legal fees," and that he "knows when fees are fair and when they're not." The quote that I found interesting, however, is where he says "We won the case because I am a great witness."
I hate clients like that. Nothing that the lawyers did in three years of pretrial practice made any difference whatsoever. The Donald showed up, testified for thirty minutes at trial, and single-handedly won the case. Great job, Mr. Trump."

And what do people have to say about it?
Kathy (Agoura Hills California, USA) (Sep. 2009): “I explained to Bill Harford that I wished to invoke my right to cancel “Wealth Building Seminar” (within the three days) because I will not be able to attend the Wealth Building Weekend to be held March 27, 28 and 29 2009. At the time of signing up for this seminar I was assured that there would be closer locations and other dates to choose from in the near future. After reviewing the scheduled dates and times I found that there were no closer locations for this seminar... No credit was ever issued. I wrote again on Friday, May 22, 2009 requesting the credit that they promised. I am willing to partake in a class action lawsuit.”
Rosy (Windsor, Connecticut, U.S.A.): I attended one of Trumps free seminars on Saturday, February 9, 2009. I signed up for the 3 day seminar and paid more than $3000. After reading most of the information and making a few contacts, i realized that this was a scam. I immediately contacted the Trump Institute and returned the documents in the required time for me to get my full refund. They were confirmed as received on 2/20/09 and was promised a refund to my credit card within 10 business days. I have been calling to resolve the matter and to date, I still have not received my refund. I have documentation of the calls and the receipts and would like to know what else to do and how your office could help. I have all the information.
Biggrizzly12 (Massillon, OhioU.S.A.): “I signed up for the course with my wife at the end of July 2007. As it ended up, it has become more like a weekly conversation at an investor's meeting (simply payin $15000.00 to shoot the breeze for 14 weeks). The program is not structured at all. If I didnt have any topics to discuss the person on the other end of the line and myself would remain silent on the phone...One coach already quit over the stress with job of delivering empty dreams....Now if Trump really does not want his name associated with a bad operation, then he will go in and clean house. I wish to have a refund. I have given a great effort to make this program work and given Rosper every opportunity to make this work and it is failing......The idea of someone several states away giving empty advice at best from several time zones away just does not work. This program just needs to go away and call it a failed experiment....It bothered me when I found out Trump had never personally been out to Provo to have personal ontact with Rosper.”

Aberdeenshire golf resort
As usual - what people say about our Goliath:
John Munro, lives at Leyton Cottage – “I have no plans to sell”
Robert Horne, wrote a comment – “Why can’t Trump just go ahead build his golf course and leave the 4 houses alone? He does not own the land nor do the 4 owners want to sell to him yet he persists in waving the CPO card. Why? Is it just to intimidate these people or to show just how big and arrogant a man he really is. They must be hoping the dust has settled before having another go. “
George Matthews, wrote a comment - "We just want to get on with the job" Of destroying a 4,000 year old ecosystem to replace it with houses and turf! Poor Trump International has such a hard time being resisted by local people who are desperate to keep their homes.”
Lord Lucan wrote a comment - An Englishman's home is his castle, A Scotsman's home is up for grabs by anyone with the money that can sweet talk a council.
Sean Ashley, wrote a comment – “Trump junior, reinforced the Trump Organization's desire and threat to use Compulsory Purchase Orders to evict the families, by stating in the Scotsman newspaper four months ago, “it is something that remains on the table”. They are a bunch of liars and would rob you of your last breath.”The kids did not learn about tradition, they were fooled by the Trump Organization into destroying a natural habitat.”
Bill Boggia, wrote a comment – “Lets hope that the Trumps don't commandeer more innocent school children to help them continue to vandalize a site of special scientific interest for a housing development that no one wants.”
Jones Beach catering hall
and abraham is right, I should also voice other people:
Kimberly Wilder says (August 11, 2009 9:43 am): If you want to join the struggle to stop the Trump project and/or keep it to a fair size (and keep Jones Beach “for the people”, not just the fancy people with catered affairs) you can find some info and a group of neighbors at: http://ourjonesbeach.wordpress.com/ourjonesbeach at wordpress website
Jim Brown (jrb398 at yahoo) says (November 8 2008): “New York State initially asked for a small restaurant, 46,000 sq feet, to be built along the boardwalk at Jones Beach, a restaurant to serve the people. There is no reason why a restaurant/catering hall/souvenir shop extravaganza of 85,000 square feet should be built instead, to serve the rich, and to provide Donald Trump with ill-gained profit for 40 years. A catering hall which charges $500 per plate has no place on our premier oceanfront State Park. Trump’s development is an affront to the residents of Long Island and the entire State of New York, indeed his hubris is an affront to common decency. The legacy of Robert Moses on Long Island should not allowed to be trashed and destroyed by this ill-advised development scheme. Governor Paterson has the ability to halt this project and return Jones Beach to the people. I urge all those who love Jones Beach–and justice–to contact the Governor and demand that the Trump project be stopped. Yes, a small restaurant at Jones beach, to be enjoyed by the average beach goer would be welcomed, but not the monstrosity that Mr. Trump seems intent on building.”
Patricia Friedman, community activist –submitted a letter to the Governor and Attorney General at the end of April 2008 (the letter can be found at- http://ourjonesbeach.wordpress.com:80), then asked the community to make some noise with a protest at the Attorney General’s office.
The Scottish media learned of her battle against Trump on the Ocean when a Manhattan press agent working with opponents of Trump projects in Scotland called about what they say is a pattern of personal retaliation by Trump. (August 2008).

The Trump Ocean Resort Baja Mexico - you have to read to believe it
The sellers prevented significant information from the people who bought the units. There were many important details that were left out, as well as false information that was given. Buyers can’t be blamed for this! That is a civil issue! The buyers believed that the units were “Trumps property”, whereas Trump simply licensed his brand to another company. In fact, he wasn’t even an investor. In addition, the state of the company was not as good as the buyers were led to believe. They may have been able to demand their money back if only they had known so.
People who spoke against Trump in this case:
Anonimus – “After the Donald screwed thousands of investors and banks out of hundreds of millions in Atlantic City directly due to poor management, how can anyone believe in him?? The net, twitter etc., are fraught with schemes to get rich quick all fronted by the Donald. The only one that may prosper is, guess who, the Donald. I simply don’t trust him. If you are in the magnificent one’s presence watch your wallet.”
A group of seven individuals filed (March 2010) a $10M lawsuit against Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and others for fraud, negligence, accounting and other counts. Their claims:
1. They were swindled by Trump. They were led to believe that Trump was directly involved when instead it was a licensing deal. The lawsuit produces evidence including newspaper stories to prove that the project was widely known as a Trump project and that Ivanka Trump and Donald J. Trump, Jr. attended key sales events for the project and announced that they would be purchasing units in the project.
2. Trump and the developer Irongate did not have financing and construction permits approved before the sales.
3. The site itself had contamination and mold issues.
4. There is an allegation that certain "favored" buyers were allowed to purchase without a deposit while others including the plaintiffs were forced to tender hefty sums before purchase.
Claims about the resort being located in a polluted area (December 2006) - North of Baja's Punta Bandera, 30 million gallons of sewage are discharged daily on the beach. Prospective buyers should be informed, so they can ask developers about health risks and sewage collection.

The Never-Built Trump Tower Tampa
David vs. Donald (Goliath) Trump
Being run over, flattened and left for dead by the well-oiled machine that is Donald Trump is not something anyone prepares you for.
It took me a while to muster up the gall and admit to myself that this is something I can’t fix, so the least I could do is prevent others from falling for the same tricks. Like the proverbial Wizard of Oz, Donald Trump is no more than a swindler hiding behind an expensive light-show, but the damage he inflicts is not in the dream world.
Above all else, it is the Trump dissonance that baffles me; the untrained eye sees a legitimate conglomerate with proper corporate governance and responsibility, but once you pierce this veil of deception, an entirely different picture emerges.
Although this is a classic David vs. Goliath; one blog vs. the well-oiled PR machine run by Trump himself, my will is to expose the true nature of Donald Trump using facts, not fiction, shedding light both on his personal and corporate misconduct.
